mailmanDear Editor:

Jason Leifer and I met in 2006 and served side by side on the Dryden Town Board
beginning in 2008. I learned a lot from him and was impressed by his obvious care for
people, communities, and the planet. It was an honor to work with him and to be one of
the five unanimous, bipartisan votes to ban fracking in our town.

Jason is running for a seat in the NYS Assembly, and I don’t know anyone more curious
and concerned about people’s challenges, more creative in building coalitions and
consensus, and more willing to fight hard for the people he represents. He has my vote,
and I ask you to learn about him and vote for him, too, whether you do it by mail or in
person.

Being represented in Albany by an experienced leader like Jason, with his
proven record of accomplishment and his genuine concern for his constituents, would
benefit the whole 125th Assembly District.
