Josh Barber and Shanna Swanson capped off the season right by qualifying for the State Meet in Norwood, NY. Both had an amazing season, improving their times by over two minutes throughout the season.

Barber finished with a personal best time of 17:59 at the Sectional meet in Chenago Park, placing 4th individually and securing himself a slot for the state meet where he placed 73. Swanson placed fourth at Sectionals and qualified for the state meet as an individual. She was the youngest competitor in the section to advance to the state meet where she ran her best time of 21:28.

This year Barber was awarded the Most Valuable Player and Travis Miller received the Coach's Award. There were two Most Improved Players this season: Mike Monacelli and Casey Nassif. The awards ceremony will be a combined effort of fall, winter and spring sports and will be presented in the spring at Lansing High School.

As a team, the Bobcats outperformed themselves at each meet this season. They placed seventh at IACs and fourth at Sectionals. Individual best performances for the season were: Travis Miller (18:20), Henry Potter (19:40), Casey Nassif (21:54), Tim Shea (19:40), Jon Fenner (19:59), Mike Monacelli (20:13), George Wigsten (20:09), Luke Davis (22:27), Daniel Comisi (21:33), Jack Rogers (24:03), Alex Rogers (24:35), Chris Meagher (23:09), Alec Iacobucci (24:02), Tim Carlson (28:50) and Hannah Shea (10:30).
