ImageThe Lansing Boy's Varsity Swim Team posted another win against Waverly on December 5, 2007 - 92-78. The team remains Undefeated since 2003. The team was led by Senior All-American Swimmer, Jake Sangren, who came in first place in the 200 IM (Individual Medley), 100 Freestyle, and was part of the winning 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay. When asked how he felt Jake was doing in these events, Coach Brian Vaughan stated, "Jake is swimming fast, but we expect him to go faster. It is still early in the Varsity season."

The team also had First Place finishes by its team of Junior Swimmers - Dan Ravas in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 23.59 and also in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 58.69; Ari Darlow in the 500 Freestyle (20 laps) with a time of 5:42.72; Dave Bandler in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.93. These 3 Juniors were also part of the winning relay teams.

The team also had a First Place finish by Clement Towner (Freshman) in the 100 Backstroke. Coach Vaughan noted that this was a huge surprise for Waverly who had put their swimmers in this event expecting to take first place. He stated, "Clement continues to improve and swim faster.
