ImageLansing was number 1 at the IAC Girls Swimming Championships last Saturday.  It was Lansing's 7th consecutive IAC win.  Four Lansing swimmers qualified for the State Championships as well.  Kali Dean qualified in three events: the 50 free, 100 free, and along with Courtney Pollack, Alex Conte, Ashley McDonald, Dean qualified for the 200 Free Relay.  Victoria Katz came in second in diving with 249.00, close behind Dryden winner Alex Seymour (249.15).

Lansing scored highest with 330, followed by Watkins Glen (177), Waverly (156), Odessa-Montour (149), Whitney Point (146), Dryden (140), and Southern Springs (114).

Lansing's 'A' team of Kelsy Quigley, Alex Conte, Courtney Pollack and Ashley McDonald scored first place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.  In the 200 Yard Freestyle Kelsy Quigley scored third and Erin Trowbridge fourth.  Kelsey Hagin scored in 11th place.

Courtney Pollack came in first in the 200 Yard IM, with Alex Conte third, and Anna Conte fourth.  Kali Dean finished first in the 50 Yard Freestyle, with Ashley McDonald in second place.  Courtney Pollack scored another first place for Lansing in the 100 Yard Butterfly, with Chelsea Tucker scoring in fourth place, and Shaye Weldon scoring in sixth.

In the 100 Yard Freestyle Kali Dean was number one once again, with Ashley McDonald third.  Anna Conte finished second in the 500 Yard Freestyle with Andrea Payton scoring in seventh, and Kelsey Hagin in eleventh.

The Lansing 'A' team was first to finish the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with Courtney Pollack, Alex Conte, Ashley McDonald and Kali Dean qualifying for State in 1:46:68.  Kelsy Quigley scored sixth and Chelsea Tucker seventh in the 100 Yard Backstroke, with Libby Drake also scoring for Lansing in tenth place.  In the 100 Yard Breaststroke Alex Conte scored in second place with Andrea Payton taking seventh and Shaye Weldon scoring in ninth.  Kelsy Quigley, Anna Conte, Erin Trowbridge and Kali Dean sped to first place again in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
