ImageThe Lansing Varsity Boys Soccer team have made a great run in the playoffs and are now headed to the state championships.  The boys beat Watkins Glen 1-0 in the section Quarterfinals.  Lansing played Watkins twice during the season and beat them 1-0 and then 4-0 this game was much tougher.  Lansing won on a goal by Walker Diebolt with 8 minutes left to win 1-0.  The boys were very happy to move on.

In the Semi-final at Lansing the boys played rival Dryden.  Again, Dryden was a familiar opponent as they had played to a 1-1 tie and Lansing won round two 1-0 this game would be no different as Ryan Mallinson scored
with 13 minutes left to give the Bobcats a 1-0 win.  The end would come with some drama as Lansing was hold in a 1-0 lead with under 2 minutes left, and Dryden put a header on goal and it looked as though the game would be tied.  But Tim McGiff came out of the back line to head the ball out of the goal.
