Tonight marks the seventh annual East Shore Festival of the Arts opening. The Lansing Town Hall campus will be open to the public from 6 to 9pm this evening to celebrate this year's juried art exhibit, which will be on display at the Lansing Town Hall and Lansing Community Library through June 24, 2015. As always the opening celebration will include food, music, a live guest artist, and a piece of Lansing History by the Lansing Historical Association.

This year's live artist is Trish Coonrod, who will be creating a still life oil painting. Over 20 artists from around the Finger Lakes region will exhibit and sell their original art work in painting, ceramics, photography, metal,wood, fiber and more. Appetizers from Crossroads Bar & Grille, wine tasting with King Ferry Winery, sweet somethings from the Cinnamon Shoppe and more treats from Lansing Market are offered. Cellist Zachary Brown and 14 Strings will provide music. This event is free and open to the public.
