FOREVER AND EVER: Great artists will often break the rules the create something great, as Mr. Händel did in the "Hallelujah Chorus." Breaking the rules can be one reason a work of art is great, but in this case, the rest of us should avoid redundancies and just say forever.
This reminds me that we sometimes hear patients at the Institute for the Linguistically Impaired say for all eternity. This begs the question, What's half of eternity?
That's enough to think about at this point in time.
