mailmanI would like to take a moment to acknowledge individuals and groups that have been actively working this year to improve Salt Point as a natural area and park for the benefit of all. In addition to the people and groups below, there are many unsung heroes of Salt Point; ‘friends’ who pick up trash every time they walk, clean-up after their dogs, keep their dogs responsibly on leash, encourage positive behaviors, drive carefully, and steward the rebuilding of diversity in the park.

The Town of Lansing does not have a budget line for taking care of this park. It is through donations of time and money from private citizens and philanthropic groups that productive stewardship is made possible. For more information about current and future activities please go to the SaltPointLansing.org or to Salt Point on the Town of Lansing Parks and Recreation page.
