Rossi Lanes Elmira (1/27): The Lansing Boys won on Saturday defeating Waverly by 35 to capture the IAC Big House crown. Lansing totaled 3257 followed by Waverly’s 3222 and Candor’s 3154.  On the Girls side Waverly won with a 2434 followed by Lansing 2212 and TAE 2200.

There were many very good score Saturday as Tioga’s Joe Steiner led all scores 259/722, Lansing’s Jon La Rock 267/693, Candor’s Andy Hollenbeck 267/685, Marathon’s Brett McGrown  257/678 and TAE Zack Smith 241/675. On the Girls side Waverly’s Nicole Rice & Megan Paterson had 508 series, Lansing’s Kristi Sullivan 182/507 and Rachel Strohman 171/493.  All teams see action again this week in head to head matches as the season is winding down.

Waverly (1/30): The Lansing Girls team did something no other team in the league has done all year; they took two points from previously undefeated Waverly Girls team. Powered by Kristi Sullivan’s 218/633 series, Rachel Strohman’s 207/484 and Lori McKane’s 179/474 the Lansing girls bowled very well, as the season is coming to a close and tournament is next.  Waverly’s Megan Patterson was high for the home team 201/538 followed by Danielle LaRue 172/510.

On the Boys side Waverly defeated the Lansing Boys taking the match 3 to1. Each game was very close as Jared Joseph 267/673 was high for Waverly and Kyle Christopher 242/660, Jon LaRock 242/641 and Phil Kulis 216/635 lead the Bobcats.
